Bernard worked with me throughout 2022 to determine the best way forward with our business management & warehousing system. The business has been operating for about 20 years with software developed inhouse in FileMaker (“FM”). However the software only works on an old version of FM and older versions of Apple Macs, and has become difficult to maintain.  The existing software functionality covers all the operational aspects of the business from purchasing through warehousing, order fulfilment, delivery, service and bookkeeping. Accordingly we were looking for a modern, preferably cloud based solution, with either integrated accounting or a two way interfaced to an upgraded accounting solution.  Bernard analysed & guided us to document the current software usage along with potential improvements. He then contacted over a dozen relevant system vendors, briefed them and progressed the majority to demonstrations and proposals. Bernard clarified the offerings including project, pricing & hosting arrangements. Together we successfully triaged the vendors down to a very short list, and ultimately I chose the solution that best suited us.
