Bernard Grinberg has assisted our Company, most recently in managing all the activities required to achieve full compliance with fire safety certification of our 5 unit industrial building in Byron Bay. This had been managed by the strata managers on behalf of the owners for over a year without success, even though almost $15,000 had been spent with various trades, and the site equipment remained dis-functional and/or non-compliant. Bernard project managed and co-ordinated all of the activities of the owners, strata managers, planners, Byron Council, architects, drafts people, fire systems specifiers, inspectors, certifiers, plumbers, electricians and builders.  He  reviewed all of the relevant Australian Standards (AS’s) and the National Construction Code (formerly the building Code of Australia) sections, with many of the parties above and negotiated the best outcomes for the owners, including the commissioning  of new, repair of existing and removal of un-necessary and dis-functional equipment. This work was completed with new Fire Safety Statement and Annual Fire Safety Inspection Report documents lodged with Council, allowing us to finalise our developments. He also represented us well on the strata committee in dealing with finances.
